The clients, a professional couple with a young son, were looking to modernise their kitchen and move away from the Maple Shaker style they had previously. The layout of their old kitchen worked quite well but was ergonomically improved with eye-level ovens. They loved the simple, clean look of Remo White and teamed it with modern quartz worktops.
The designer suggested incorporating curves into the design for an ultra-contemporary feel and this has soften the lines, which the clients love. Lighting plays an important part in the scheme with the plinth lighting adding atmosphere. The hob is centralised in the design and is flanked by useful 150mm wide pull-outs to keep cooking oils and other ingredients conveniently to hand.
