Avant White

The Brief

The clients had built a new orangery onto the side of their home and wanted the look and feel of the new kitchen to have a similar theme in terms of its style.  They opted for the clean lines of Avant White, but to avoid it looking too clinical, contrasted this with black granite worktops and black ovens and extractor.

Designer’s Tips

The room is long but rather narrow so by including a small peninsula the space does not appear so long and thin, plus this also creates a social hub in the kitchen where friends and family can gather.  Keen cooks and entertainers, the bank of ovens and wine cooler were key to the new design.
